I am a garden maintainer and designer based in Norfolk. I work in a range of areas; from small back gardens to conservation and wildlife orientated spaces, as well as large estates and walled gardens.

My business has been running for 5 years now; I’d always been interested in gardening and on being made redundant from a previous job, I saw my opportunity to start up my own garden maintenance business; armed with a trowel and fork and not much else I hesitatingly started working my way round local gardens.

With the completion of my RHS Level 2 in Horticulture, I felt competent and confident enough to offer help in most elements of the garden; from basic weeding, mowing and tidying to pruning (in particular I now specialise in apple trees and roses).

After a couple of years gaining experience from maintenance, I wanted to expand my horizons into design work and enrolled on a Garden Design course run by Julia Srigley of Broadacre Gardens. The focus of which was designing with plants as opposed to hard landscaping; how themes and structures can be formed with plants alone, or if new features have been put into a garden (such as pergolas or fencing) which plants can be used to soften and compliment a new addition so as to illuminate a garden even more.

The Company

Fritha Waters Gardening is not a large company, it’s just me! I can’t provide a huge team of workers to get the job done in record time but what I can offer is the personal touch, work of a high quality and attention to detail in order to work with you to create the garden you’ve always wanted.

As well as garden maintenance, I have now added a new aspect to the business, which is my Feature Flower Beds, professionally designed, easy to look after, flower beds ready to be incorporated into your garden, adding an exciting addition to a garden of any size.
